I love the idea that despite the fact that we all live in the same country everyone builds in such different ways.

It certainly sounds like you made the right decision, regardless of heartaches to follow( well there is bound to be some) Sounds like your house will be up there will the best value homes in your area when you've finished. Though I notice a fair few of us are not building to prosper but rather to get the lifestyle we want.kexkezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11022961200784197808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4890188411756641838.post-78261074416733560832008-11-23T10:08:00.000+11:002008-11-23T10:08:00.000+11:00....and so on and so on! The couches come before the mirror, then there's the window furnishings, driveway, decking to the alfresco, landscaping, front fence, letter box...

:)stormygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11386975529257272610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4890188411756641838.post-58644112976798594042008-11-23T08:19:00.000+11:002008-11-23T08:19:00.000+11:00under your bed? hehehheunder your bed? hehehheTonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12562517070658213341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4890188411756641838.post-84294753959749237862008-11-20T16:31:00.000+11:002008-11-20T16:31:00.000+11:00I have my eye on one ;)..just no where to store it...I have my eye on one ;)..just no where to store it at the moment (which is why the chandelier is still in the shop!) hehe!stormygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11386975529257272610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4890188411756641838.post-59458083007022787382008-11-20T15:36:00.000+11:002008-11-20T15:36:00.000+11:00Good points made re slab and frame. I'm hoping you just have a slab now :-)

Okay so the sold sticker is on.....what else can you buy..... a mirror? heheTonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12562517070658213341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4890188411756641838.post-39840297532178869282008-11-19T10:36:00.000+11:002008-11-19T10:36:00.000+11:00Thanks HTB!I'm actually hoping that only the slab ...Thanks HTB!

I'm actually hoping that only the slab gets done before Christmas. Due to the 5 week holiday, it would be great for the slab to continue to cure properly, and I don't really want the frame to be 'weathered' over those 5 weeks with no roof, wrapping or bricks! BUT, if I do get more than a slab then it will be closer to the finish line! Also the thought of water possibly pooling on the second story floor doesn't really excite me either.

I guess I'll know soon enough with only 5 weeks and 1 day until Christmas!!

Hahahaha...that beautiful chandelier already has my name on it with a 'sold' sticker! ;) ;)stormygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11386975529257272610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4890188411756641838.post-83901921018403975822008-11-19T00:16:00.000+11:002008-11-19T00:16:00.000+11:00Great news!
