Santa Arrived Early!

Just in time for Christmas, I now have my 2 new beautiful tables for the family room! I am so happy, and they look wonderful...even next to the 13 year old couches with covers on them (to hide the very 90's blue and white check!)

I'm still moving things around on them (and underneath them), and will probably continue to do so for a while! At least now I have some more horizontal space to work with!

The family room is still far from being complete. I would eventually like to get a big floor rug to make it feel a little cosier, and also I have plans to paint white the old baltic pine shelves so they tie in with everything else. It will all come together eventually! But now my sights are set on getting ready for the family Christmas 'do' I'm hosting!

well I'm not trying to advertise on your comments, but seeing as you obviously love the Eiffel tower - have you seen this one:

I bought it - it's not too shabby actually, probably not the best but hey, $50!

Hi Stormy,
I've just had a quick look over your blog after finding a link to it on the "homeone" forums. Your home looks great. I love the original framings and artwork; if only we were all so creative! You should go into business; I would certainly buy things from you :D
Anyway I was just wondering if you could tell me where you got the artwork that is behind the pictures of your white tables (the black sign with white writing on it). It's just that I actually lived in Esher for 6 months in 2008 and would love to get a similar sign for my home (when it's actually built, but that's a whole new story!). If you could let me know that'd be great.
Thanks and keep up the good work.
Cheers, grom40

I have just found your blog via HomeOne. Love your home! Where did you get the gorgeous side tables from?

Hi Grom, my apologies, I've only just noticed your 3 year old comment, but I believe I've spoken to you about my original London bus blind via Homeone, anyway. Not purchasable, sorry!

Hi Danielle, I bought these online several years ago, but Adairs were stocking them, not sure if they still are. It is from the Manto range from Sasson Furniture.
