Roof scaffolding gone!

What a nice surprise today to see the roof scaffolding had been taken away, and we could see our house in all her glorious frame, windows and roof all complete without the 'mess'! Doesn't she look lovely! We are just waiting on the green wrapping, then the bricking can begin!!

Still no word from our CSA with a time for our site meeting with the SS next week, and we didn't receive a call from the CSA manager about the letter. With any luck, it's all been taken care of, and we will be receiving a new letter with the 'correct' dates on it.

I still have numerous loads of washing to do to add to the 5 I did yesterday and the 3 done today. At least the furniture is drying out and not looking so warped, and I have about 5 boxes to go back into the new storage place. It will end, one day soon, I'm sure...

Hi Stormy
I'm glad to hear that everything is starting to settle down a bit. Your house looks fantastic and they seem to be moving along at a steady pace...this is a really good sign. As for the letter, it will happen so try to put it out of your mind for a while and start enjoying your house build again. I know I have said this before...but I cant wait to see your beautiful bricks!

Thankyou Mrs B. I'm so sick of washing, I can tell you now! Nice to see all the hundreds of baby clothes I couldn't part with again! Just a shame I had to wash them ALL...there were about 4 boxes full. Not to mention the 3 boxes of linen, 3 of my clothes and 2 of stormybloke's.

I can't wait to see my bricks either! Hopefully this coming week too!!

Thankyou 'The Browns'!! Your place is looking good too!

Looks great Stormy. Hope the bricklayers arrive soon for you.

Glad to hear that the furniture is drying out and looking alot better. At least you've had some good weather for drying off the clothes.
